mPaceline Pulse can show your live equipment metrics (cadence, resistance, speed/pace, stroke rate, heart rate, power, etc.) while you take a Peloton class. It also overlays instructor cues (zones, cadence targets, pace targets, etc.) so you can see whether you’re riding/running/rowing in the intended range.
Before this works, you need to tell mPaceline Pulse what equipment you’re using. There are two paths:
Peloton equipment (Bike / Tread / Row)
Non-Peloton equipment (third-party Bluetooth devices)
You’ll find all equipment options in:
Settings → Bluetooth Devices
If you own Peloton hardware and want mPaceline Pulse to use it as your live meter:
Go to Settings → Bluetooth Devices
Turn ON Use Peloton Equipment for Meter
When this is ON, your Peloton equipment becomes the source for live metrics during workouts.
If you use a third-party bike, treadmill, rower or you are looking to connect a heart rate monitor:
Go to Settings → Bluetooth Devices
Tap New Device
Follow the scan + pairing flow to add your equipment
Note that in order to connect to your bluetooth device, it has to be on and in pairing mode. you might also need to be interacting with it (pedal, walk, row) to make sure it’s ready to connect to mPaceline.
Repeat this process for each device you want mPaceline Pulse to connect with, including:
Bike / Tread / Rower meter (as applicable)
Heart rate monitor (chest strap or armband)
After your devices have been added, they will show in the Bluetooth Devices list.
You can tap a device to see live data (assuming it’s on and you are interacting with it) or swipe left to delete it.
If you have an older Keiser M Series bike, you can connect directly without adding it like a standard Bluetooth meter:
Open Settings → Bluetooth Devices
Tap Keiser Direct Connect
Follow the prompts to locate and save your Keiser bike (by bike number)
Once saved, you’ll see:
Keiser M Series Bike No. X
To remove it later, swipe on the Keiser row and tap Forget.
IMPORTANT – if your Keiser bike is newer or won’t connect using this process, try connecting using Option B above.
If you prefer to pull heart rate from your Apple Watch:
Open Settings → Bluetooth Devices
Turn ON Use Apple Watch for HR (if available)
Make sure the mPaceline Pulse Watch app is installed and opened before your workout
You can also use Test Watch Connection to confirm the watch is streaming properly.
