By using our Apps you consent to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of our Apps indicates your acceptance of this policy and any modifications of it that we might make in the future. All changes that we make to this Privacy Policy will always be published here and can be checked at any time.

Outside of the sections below, the data captured by our Apps is limited to your email address.  Email Address is used in our cloud authentication so that we can create a valid account for you and enable features of account authentication (email validation, forgot password links, etc…). We do not use or share your email address in any way outside of cloud authentication.

Apple Health Kit Integration

This section applies to our mPaceline App only.

To analyze and present information to you, our mPaceline App requires the ability to read your health data for heart rate, energy, date of birth, gender, & workouts from the Apple HealthKit database on your iPhone and Apple Watch.

In addition, mPaceline writes data to the Apple HealthKit database to save workouts that have been performed while using the App.

mPaceline cannot read or write data from or to the Apple HealthKit database unless you specifically grant access.

Data read from the Apple HealthKit database is used to perform calculations related to your heart rate, and to present this data to you within the mPaceline iPhone and Watch applications. Calculated values for averages, minimums, maximums, and time in zones are stored locally on your iPhone to more easily & quickly present this information to you. This data is not transmitted anywhere by the mPaceline app. It remains on your iPhone for your personal use.

The protection of any data stored on your iPhone and Apple Watch within the mPaceline app is your sole responsibility. Please consult your device documentation on how to manage local storage and how to apply appropriate security controls to your device for the protection of information.

mPaceline is in no way responsible for the protection of data and information stored within the Apple HealthKit database. It is strongly recommended that you review Apple’s applicable policies and procedures before synching and backup up your Apple HealthKit data.
