Connecting your Peloton account is what enables mPaceline Pulse to pull class data in real time while you work out. This is how the app knows:
Which class you’re taking (bike, tread, row, strength, etc.)
Instructor, class type, duration, and other session details
Instructor cues and targets (Power Zone callouts, cadence ranges, pace/speed guidance, stroke-rate targets, etc.)
Once connected, mPaceline Pulse can display those cues visually during the class and show how your live equipment metrics (cadence, power, pace, resistance, stroke rate, heart rate, etc.) compare to what the instructor is asking for.
If your Peloton account is not connected, you can still use mPaceline Pulse for tracking, but you may miss key features like:
Automatic class detection/details
Instructor cue overlays and zone guidance
Better context for your workout results (who/what/when)
Open mPaceline Pulse
Go to Settings
Tap Peloton Account
Tap Connect Account
Sign in with your Peloton credentials and approve access
After connecting, you’ll see your Peloton rider name (and often your profile image) displayed in the Peloton Account section of Settings instead of “Connect Account”.
